Bubbles – pencil.drawings

Why did you pick this picture?
I picked this picture because it is my favourite drawing that I have produced and a lot of people like it. I really love the colours I used to create this picture, they’re bright and stand out which catches people’s eye. I also picked it because I created the bubble drawing on black paper which makes it really stand out which I love, other people also like how I did this.

Where did the idea for this art come from?

The idea to draw this picture came from?

me when I was playing with my cat blowing bubbles towards her and it gave me the idea to draw bubbles and try and make them look realistic. At the time I also wanted to draw something in my sketchbook which was black paper and try something new.I had also seen other people draw bubbles before in the past which helped with my idea but I made it into my own by how I drew it and the composition of my drawing is different to anyone else’s.
What does this art mean to you?

This artwork does mean a lot since it is my favourite piece I have created and it has also helped me with new ideas for other drawings. Since I created this drawing it made me feel more confident with the materials I used and with the new ideas that I thought of.

What can you tell us about yourself?

My name is Chloe and I have always loved doing art since I was little. I am 16 and still learning and improving everyday testing new mediums. I made an Instagram account (@pencil.drawings) to post my artwork which has helped since I get nice comments about my work which makes me feel happy about the work I have produced. Also having Instagram is a way I can share the work I create instead of putting it away and no one being able to see it.
What more can you tell us about your art?

I create all my artwork in my spare time and do whatever I like, sometimes I stay with the style I’m comfortable with, sometimes I try something new
