Why did you pick this picture?

I picked this Picture because it says alot of things. It speaks out more than just what meets the Human eye.

It was my first realistic oil painting whose reference photo was of refugee girl who was in one of the UN refugee Camps in Central Africa.
Where did the idea for this art come from?

The Idea comes from the day to day challenges experienced by artists in terms of producing different art work experiments. For example, various Artists find drawing and painting water much difficult. So i tried to challenge myself to do it the hard way of mastering water. As seen on my instagram, where i shared inspiration water based art and as well as my first water on face experiments. 
What does this art mean to you?

This art means simply alot of things which i can summerise in a few words which are “Every thing is Possible in Art”.

What can you tell us about yourself?

I’m Pius Talemwa, a 23 year Old Artist & Practicing Film maker who goes by the alias of Strange which in literal description means alot of things.

“I have laid my bed in channels on in coffins where black death keeps record of the trophies won”. Thats why i never allow to be challenged by something i believe i can achieve with time.

What more can you tell us about your art?

My Art is inspired by the detailed hyper realist achievements of hyper realists like Christinna papagianni, Dinotomic, Paul Cadden, Lopez Lorenzana, Mike Dargas,Alyssa monks and Among others.

Its Also inspired by the intricate represententation of Water in art works.
