Pi – sophiesportraits

Why did you pick this picture?

I named it after a jungle lady I met whilst travelling around Thailand who taught me that life wasn’t all about materials or money and that keeping a smile on your face always goes a long way.
Why does this picture mean so much to you?

This is a drawing of a photo I took of a lovely elephant that let me wash and feed it, elephants show such care and love that I couldn’t resist but draw her!
What can you tell us about yourself?

My name is Sophie Frake, am 21 years old and fit in commissioned art work (mainly clients pets) around a full time job and a part time degree.

What more can you tell us about your art?

I use mainly coloured pencil and am starting to be a bit more adventurous with drawing people rather than just pets.

I named this piece Pi, this is after a crazy jungle lady I met in Thailand who made me realise that life wasn't about materials, you don't need a flushable toilet or fast food to be happy, you just need each other 🐘🐘 I am unable to carry on my rabbit drawing this weekend as I am not at home so here is a picture of a recent drawing I am selling prints of for £30, sized A4 plus 25mm border, please get in touch by direct message or via my Facebook account (in bio) if you would like one! #elephant #pet #portrait #drawing #art #artist #pencil #colour #wild #thailand #asia #travelling #travel #artifeature #arts_secret #artist_features #theartlovers #supportlivingartists #instaartexplorer #young_artists_help #artdiscover #beyondrealistic #tacart #collectivemindsinc #art_empire #artbros #artscrowds #arts_gallery #artistshouts
