Why did you pick this picture?
I picked this picture because it was my first watercolour. It was the picture that stated to get me noticed and I’m so proud of it. I feel like I really connect with this piece, and I love it to bits.
Where did the idea come from?
I got my inspiration for this picture from a beautiful sky at night. I live close to a wood so I thought I would merge those two beautiful things together. I’d seen one like this with a sunset, and thought I would try my hand at it.
What does this picture mean to you?
This picture means a lot to me. It was the first time I was actually blending colours and really cared about how my art came across to other people. This piece really started me off.
What can you tell us about yourself?
I discovered art at an art course to help teens who were struggling with school due to anxiety and I haven’t looked back since. Art is a part of my everyday life, and I couldn’t imagine myself without it.
What more can you tell us about your art?
I post my art nearly everyday though social media and it’s roughly based on realism and fantasy. I usually do pencil drawings but every now and then I splash colour into my work. My art is usually a way to distress myself, which is why I incorporate peaceful themes and patterns. I really hope you like it!
