green baby dragon rhaegal – veecrafts

Why did you pick this picture?

I picked this artpiece because it is my most recent one and i love it so much, i think it really shows what i am capable of doing with my own hands, if that doesn’t sound too stupid.

Where did the idea for this art come from?

Well, i love game of thrones and i normally make sculptures of animals with wings or stones attached to them but i never made a fantasie creature bevor and i thought a dragon would be a great start, so i made daenerys’s baby dragon rheagal from game of thrones.

What does this art mean to you?

Sometimes i look at my artpieces when they’re done and i can barely believe that i made that by myself. This was one of those times, if i compare him to the things i made 2 years ago i’m so happy to see my process.

What can you tell us about yourself?

My name is Verena, i’m 19 years old, i’m a biologie student and i live in austria, german is my motherlanguage so i excuse my english-skills. I love all kinds of art and a few years ago i discovered polymerclay and my world changed. Since february 2017 i follow my dream of being a polymerclayartist and having my own etsy shop.

What more can you tell us about your art?

Right now i make realistic-looking animals with wings and call them angimals or make normal animals on stones as necklaces or decoration. I made princess- and game of thrones- figures in the past. Around christmastime i create little christmashouses with LED-lights and i love them too. Overall i want to make lots of different pieces so i can learn many different techniques and styles. I just love to see what i can create all by myself.
