The Bottle – hridayraktimbarua

Why did you pick this picture?

Some people love to capture what they see, I love to draw them instead. I always wanted to blur the line between art and photographs or real objects. So I believe this is by far my best artwork which is done in hyper-realism style and it’s worth all those efforts & knowledge that I’ve been learning from last 2 years almost.

Where did the idea come from?

I’ve been continuously learning something new and following a lots of artists in this art form such as Marcello Barenghi, Nikola Culjik etc from last 2 years and keep trying to do something more, something better than the last one, observing everyday objects around myself and in the process and after so many failed attempts, I finally ended up with this one.

What does this art mean to you?

This art means “nothing is impossible” if you’re willing to learn. I’ve failed a lot ot times before in order to draw something like this but then after learning & practising now I believe, I’m able to draw a bit better than before. So we need to give time if we need to do something better and have that patience.

What can you tell us about yourself?

I’m Hriday Raktim Baruah, was born in Guwahati, Assam, North-East India. I’ve completed my B.Sc in Mathematics and now I’m a teacher. Despite majoring in Mathematics, I’ve always been attracted towards art, towards creative areas such as Drawing, Graphic designing etc. And as in mathematics, I learnt about the concept of perspective & geometry, I realised I could use that in creating 3D arts and that’s how it all started. Now I’m balancing a life between being a Mathematician and being an Artist, which is fun. It’s like being Batman and Bruce Wayne πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

What more can you tell us about your art?

Art is a part of my life. It’s a meditation for me. This art taught me how to be more patient, how to do more with the life. I also make Inverted artworks which is also I learnt during my last year of B.Sc. Art made me who I am today. Sometimes it becomes hectic to balance a life between profession and passion but at the end, this art made me feel relaxed more than anything else. I hope I can continue this in the future too. At the end, I want to Thank you everyone for your supports, for your encouragements. Without you I couldn’t have achieved this. Thank you to Future Artists Blog for this opportunity. And Thank you for reading this. 😊
