Emma Watson as Belle – agnesvic

Why did you pick this picture?

I choose this because this picture represent my ability in drawing real-life person. I’m afraid that people won’t recognize who she is, but then when I showed it to my sister half-way done she recognized it’s her, so I’m pretty happy about it. I also love how the colours go in this black paper.

Where did the idea for this art come from?

I follow a lot of amazing art accounts and many of them draw Emma Watson in her yellow dress. So I thought I wanted to draw her to and I search through google. I found this picture of her different from the other I saw and wanted to draw it. At that time, I also wanted to practice my skills in drawing a real-life person and Beauty and The Beast was about to come out in my country which I had been waiting to watch.

What does this art mean to you?

This means a lot. This is my first time drawing a person on a black paper and coloured it. I kinda messed up in the middle of the proccess  but at the end it turned up pretty good. I always anxious to draw people, but this make me believe I can do it with more practice although it will take a lot of time.

What can you tell us about yourself?

I am Indonesian, 19 years old. I am currently a dentistry student. I like to draw or make some crafts on my holiday and want to sell them but I’m not sure how to do it, also my schedule make me couldn’t do when there is orders so its been confusing. Overall, art usually me calm and sometimes make me stress when it didn’t go as I want. 😂

What more can you tell us about your art?

Most of them I draw with reference with various kinds of materials. A few of them has a meaning, but many of them just a character I love to draw. Whatever it is, I hope it please the eyes who see it 😊
