Stippled Rose – theworldofanartist

Why did you pick this picture?

I felt like drawing a rose and I wanted it to look different from my normal designs. I wanted to use stippling to shade the rose, so I did. One of my favorite symbols is a rose, so I drew one, and never stopped until I finished it.

Where did the idea for this art come from?

I was into stippling when I drew this, and my art teacher said stippling makes things look cooler. I wanted to make a rose and use the stipple technique. When I finished this, I was in love with it and everyone I showed it to was amazed.

What does this art mean to you?

To me, art means you can express yourself through many different ways. Paint, pencil, clay, and so many more medias. It can show your creative side, and even sometimes how the world is seen through the artist’s eyes.

What can you tell us about yourself?

I was 1 when I was adopted from Hunan, China in 2004. My birthday is 2/18/2003. I have a sister, who is also adopted from China. My parents, grandparents, and entire family support me, and my art. I’ve been a gymnast for about 7 years. I’ve had no training in art, I’m completely self taught. I live in Phoenix, Arizona, and I love my life.

What more can you tell us about your art?

My art is mainly anything besides people. Most of my art is mandalas and zentangles, basically floral-ish designs. I also love to draw dragons. The majority of my art is black and white, mostly the doodles and full page designs. I love to use Copics for colorful designs and pictures. Art helps me get lost in my world where no one can judge me or tell me what’s right or what’s wrong.
