Why did you pick this picture?
I chose this because it’s a turning point in my life taking old things such as dolls and turning them into sculptures. More of likely showing my skill with new and unusual mediums
Where this idea come from?
I was looking though a bunch of doll artists and I saw them creating mermaids but it was more for beauty and like to make them look like dolls. So I wanted to make a statement with animals, and how grotesque it feels to see what their being killed for. But there’s also a bit of beauty elements with it. I wanted to make the dolls into sculptures more than anything else, and to create an art piece out of them
What does art mean to you?
Art is an expression, and it allows artists to express themselves without any fear. As an artist I want people to know what I was thinking in that current mood or what I wanted to express
What can you tell us about yourself?
I’m still in high school coming from a lower glass family basically doing what ever it took to give me a private school education. I am an Asian American artist still figuring out my way though the art world. I’m still pretty young when it comes to experience. I only started for years ago but I’ve been doing art every single day of my high school career. And I’ve been exploring different aspects of art ever since
What more can you tell us about your art?
I’m very into cartoons and anime art. That’s were I started out and I’d love to create a career out of. But this year I’ve been getting into sculptures and expanding myself as an artists. In art I love cartoons, high fashion, creepy subjects, also cute things, and I’m very versatile when it comes to the rage of art I do
