To infinity and beyond with you – Fengfeng

Why did you pick this picture?

This picture is one of my favorite watercolor paints from the Fengfeng’s Adventure series. It originates from a photo taken during my trip in Seoul with my sister. The sunflower wall painting is an iconic photo site at the Iowa Mural Village in Seoul. I love the funny pose in the original photo of me and my sister. I will always go to infinity and beyond with her

Where did the idea for this art come from?

I love traveling and I think a cartoonish illustration travel journey is a wonderful way to remember the beautiful time I’ve had during those trips. This painting is part of the many ones I have been watercoloring, originating from photos I took in my travels.

What does this art mean to you?

Though I have been doing art for more than a decade now as a part-time hobby, I have actually never finished a sketch book! Can you believe that? My 2018 new year resolution is to actually finish one sketchbook from start to an end. I pick Fengfeng’s Adventure  as the theme. If I finish it, it will be my first complete sketchbook!!

What can you tell us about yourself?

I am a CS and math double major, graduated from college in May 2017, work as a full-time engineer in Los Angeles. I love fashion, food, traveling and art of course. I create art during my free time. Always excited to try out different media, new tech and passionate about figuring out ways to combine art and tech!

What more can you tell us about your art?

During my free time, I explore a variety of media including oil paint, color pencil, color markers, charcoals and digital painting. I wish the story of my artworks can inspire more people to recollect their childhood dreams and always feel the passion for life. You can checkout out more of my art endeavors at fengfengwise.com
