Why did you pick this picture?
I chose this photo because it symbolizes the desire for realization in the heart of man. A desire that is often based on the conquest of outer wealth, believing that we obtain happiness.
Where did the idea come from?
The idea of this painting arises from the introspective observation of the human soul, which seeks realization through the knowledge of oneself and not through the riches of the world that always culminate in dissatisfaction … Like a prince who possesses the world but does not know itself.
What does this art mean to you?
This painting wants to be an invitation to know oneself, the true source of happiness; rather than conquering the ephemeral things of the world.
What can you tell us about yourself?
Since I was a child, I loved to draw, I was kidnapped by the creative process, I get excited to see ideas take shape through drawing. Many small seemingly random gestures that ultimately resulted in a beautiful design, even in the eyes of a child. For me it was exciting to notice the charm in the eyes of those who saw me draw … I soon realized that it was possible to create a fracture over time through the images made. In front of a work, even an adult returned to the wonder of a child.
My love for creativity led me to study at art school and at the academy of fine arts, although I consider myself self-taught, I have always taken the liberty of experimenting with everything, getting out of the academic schemes. Currently I do commissioned work and when I am not immersed in color, I dedicate myself to other passions like the study of essays and training.
What more can you tell us about your art?
Over the years I have perfected many artistic techniques, then merge them and create personal mixed techniques. Through my art I love to give shape to feelings that, for better or for worse, mark the path of man towards “home”. I believe that a work of art, whether it is a painting, a piece of music, a poem … Be it the expression of one ‘s spirit, can create a gap through superficiality, and open doors where previously there were only walls.
